Grant of day-off August 15, 2011
The Law n.o 10/2005 from August 10, determines that the national holidays, the official commemorative dates and days-off.
The date August 15 is the day of the Assumption of Our Lady, one of the solemnities of the Catholic Church on the elevation of the Virgin Mary into heaven to be with her son Jesus Christ.
Thus, the Government decided to grant day-off on Aug. 15, for the period from 8 a.m.to 2.30 p.m., to all employees and agents of the ministries or departments depending on them, as well as institutes and organizations included in indirect State administration. - 10 of August of 2011Council of Ministers Meeting of August 10, 2011This Wednesday, August 10, 2011, the Council of Ministers met at the Council of Ministers’ meeting room in the Government Palace, Dili, and approved:more
