25 of June of 2013Meeting of the Council of Ministers on June 25, 2013The Council of Ministers met this Tuesday, June 25, 2013, in the Council of Ministers meeting room at the Government Palace in Dili and received the United Nations Representative for Guinea-Bissau, and former President of Timor-Leste, HE Dr. José Ramos-Horta.more
The Council of Ministers also received Dr. Hafiz Pasha, former Minister for Finance and Economic Affairs of Pakistan and, till 2007, United Nations Assistant of the Secretary General and United Nations Development Program Assistant Administrator and Director of the Regional Bureau for Asia and the Pacific.
At this meeting the Council of Ministers approved:
1. Government Resolution on the appointment of the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the National Communications Authority
2. The Demolition of the old Comoro Bridge and Construction of the second phase of the new Comoro Bridge
3. Proposal of Law on the Special Regime for Defining Ownership of Real Estate
4. Proposal of Law on Real Estate Financial Fund
5. Considerations on Investment Protection Treaties and Arbitration Regime
The Council of Ministers also analyzed:
1. 2012 Study on Schooling in Timor-Leste
2. Project to create Aileu Institute
3. Changing the School Calendar
4. Celebrations of August 20
