Presentation of the 200 centcoin

The Prime Minister, Rui Maria de Araújo, attended the 200 centcoin presentation, put into circulation on September 13th, 2017.
The Head of Government thanked the Governor of the Central Bank of Timor-Leste (CBTL), Abrão de Vasconcelos, and his whole team for maintaining the professionalism in the services provided by this institution.
The CBTL decided to create this new currency to facilitate commerce in rural areas.
