Groundbreaking Ceremony for Tibar Bay Port

This event will celebrate the beginning of construction of a new state-of-the-art international container port at Tibar Bay, 10 kilometres outside the capital Dili, and is predicted to have 2 berthing piers approximately 630 metres long and can receive around 870 000 containers annually.
The ceremony will include the participation of the Prime-Minister, Rui Maria de Araújo, the Minister for Public Works, Transport and Communications, Gastão de Sousa and the Minister for Planning and Strategic Investment, Xanana Gusmão, among other leading figures.
