Awareness Program on the Preparation Process for Accession of Timor-Leste to ASEAN, at the vicariates of the Diocese of Dili
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation of Timor-Leste, through the Office of the Secretary of State for ASEAN Affairs, along with the General Directorate for ASEAN, will conduct, during the months of October to November 2014, an awareness program related to the preparative process for Timor-Leste’s accession to ASEAN, across all the vicariates of the Diocese of Dili.
This awareness program has the coordination and cooperation of the Justice and Peace Commission (JPC), from the Diocese of Dili, and the Secretariat of State for ASEAN Affairs, from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation. From October 1st to October 3rd, the program will be presented at the Vicariate of Ermera, covering the Parishes of Hatolia, Letefoho and Gleno and taking place, from the middle of October to November, at the Vicariate of Same and Oe-Cusse Ambeno.
The aim is not only to inform the community on the preparation process for Timor-Leste’s accession to ASEAN, but also listen to their concerns, doubts and suggestions on this matter.
