Prime Minister supports rehabilitation of the Technical-Vocational School of BecoraOn behalf of the Sixth Constitutional Government, the Prime Minister, Rui Maria de Araújo, has thanked Kim Ki-nam, the Ambassador of the Republic of Korea in Timor-Leste, for the support given to the Government for the rehabilitation the Secondary Technical-Vocational School of Becora. The Prime Minister was speaking at the launching ceremony, conducted by the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA), on July 20.
The Head of Government praised Korea for its support in various areas and highlighted the generosity and hospitality extended to Timorese people who study and work in that country.
The Prime Minister gave the Ambassador a certificate of appreciation for his support to Timor-Leste.
After the official ceremony Dr. Araújo took a tour of the school, speaking with students from various departments and observing them demonstrate skills learned in areas such as installation, mechanics, carpentry, welding and civil construction, among others.
The Sixth Constitutional Government has prioritized the strengthening of technical and vocational training to better prepare young people for employment.
