Prime Minister and President of the Republic debate new President of the Court of AppealThe Prime Minister, Rui Maria de Araújo, met with the President of the Republic, Taur Matan Ruak, on April 24, 2017, at the Presidential Palace in Dili. At that meeting, they discussed the appointment of the new President of the Court of Appeal, which is shortly to come.

The Head of the Member State reminded that the Attorney General mandate is over, however must be extended. The Chief Executive suggested that this decision should be taken after the inauguration of the new President of the Republic, on May 20th.
