Prime Minister and President of the Republic discuss electoral resultsThe Prime Minister, Rui Maria de Araújo, had a weekly meeting with the President of the Republic, Taur Matan Ruak, on March 23 at the Nicolau Lobato Presidential Palace in Dili.
At this regular meeting, they spoke about the Presidential Election that had taken place a few days before, in a quiet campaign, although there were some small problems at the beginning. They considered that the number of voters was small compared to 2012, because the possibility of voting was restricted to the place where citizens were registered.
The Head of Government and the Head of State also spoke about the preparations for the upcoming Legislative Elections.
