PRESS RELEASE

The IV Constitutional Government of Timor-Leste has decided to grant a day-off on the 24^th and 31^st December, to all public servants and agents of the Ministries or their dependent services, as well as the institutes and organisms integrated in the indirect administration of the State.

This decision is based on Law no. 10/2005, of the 10^th of August, that determines the days which are national holidays, the official commemorative days and days-off, and is decided taking into consideration the family festivity that is celebrated in this festive season, and which is traditionally consecrated to the reunion of all its members, signalled with religious festivities and ceremonies.
