The government congratulates the Muslim community on the celebration of Eid al-Fitr
The 9th Constitutional Government congratulates the Muslim community in Timor-Leste on the celebration of Eid al-Fitr, which marks the end of the holy month of Ramadan.
This celebration is a time of spiritual and family significance for Muslims, characterised by prayer, sharing, and the strengthening of bonds of solidarity and coexistence between families and communities.
Eid al-Fitr recalls values such as respect, forgiveness and harmonious coexistence between different cultures and religions, principles that reflect the diversity and cohesion of Timorese society. END
