Sixteen Officials from FALINTIL – Defense Forces of Timor-Leste (acronym in Tetum: F-FDTL) participated in a training action about Peace Support, which took place in the first week of October, at the Centre for Instruction and Training (CIT), in Metinaro, Díli.
The F-FDTL Chief of Staff, Colonel Falur Rate Laek highlighted that “the course aims to enhance and empower professionalism of F-FDTL’s members, so that, in the future, they will be able to provide their services better”.
During the training, the staff of F-FDTL received training under various subjects, such as self-control, health, Human Rights, amongst others.
The Course Director, Luís Branquinho, from the Portuguese Army, informed that, from the sixteen Officials, one is Captain, four are Lieutenants and 11 are Ensigns.
