Based on the Memorandum of Understanding signed in 2011 during the legislature of the IV Constitutional Government, the Indonesian Government provided twelve technicians to reinforce the infrastructure services of the Ministry of Public Works (MPW).

On July 29th, the Indonesian technicians had a meeting with the Heads of Public Works of the MPW, to familiarize themselves with the infrastructure programs and work of that ministry.

According to the Minister of Public Works, Gastão de Sousa, these technicians will cooperate in works such as supervision and topography.

In line with the former Indonesian MPW, Rachmadi Bambang Sumadjiyo, “these technicians have a wide and comprehensive experience, and are thus capable of contributing for the achievement of good results in the infrastructure area”.
