SoSPTEP has a new electronic portal

On November 16th, 2012 in the Lecidere square in Dili, the Secretary of State for Professional Training and Employment Policy, Ilídio Ximenes da Costa, along with the First Lady, Isabel Ferreira, launched the new portal of the Secretariat of State for Professional Training and Employment Policy (SoSPTEP), which can be visited at the address, www.sepfope.com.

Ilídio Ximenes da Costa highlighted the fact that we are “in the era of globalization, modernization and technology. If we speak about technology, we speak about information and if we renounce to information, we will miss out on opportunities. Information, communication and education are crucial in our country so that we may share information and ideas, towards progress and prosperity, especially for the future generations. “

The Secretary of State said “inside the portal you can access information, which young people and parents need about training and employment. In this portal you may find all the SoSPTEP directory programs, laws and activities. This portal allows us to disseminate information to the community, giving every citizen the opportunity and freedom to express their opinions, ideas, suggestions and criticisms. We expect these to be constructive criticisms, of motivation, enabling us to move forward, especially from 2013 to 2017, by allowing SoSPTEP to improve and contribute to the development of the country. “

At the launching ceremony of the portal, were also present, the Secretary of State for Social Communication, Nélio Isaac; the Secretary of State for the Support and Promotion of the Private Sector, Veneranda Lemos, and the Ambassadors of Australia and South Korea in East Timor.

This portal took over two months to be designed and, for this occasion, it was also launched a blog, a twitter and the SoSPTEP facebook.
