The President of the Republic, Dr. José Ramos-Horta, by decree set the date for elections of Deputies of the National Parliament, which will take place on July 7 (Saturday).
The date was set by the Head of State in accordance with the existing regulations and after consultation with the Government and political parties in Parliament.
