The Secretariat of State of the Council of Ministers (SoSCM) and the National University of Timor-Leste (UNTL) signed, on February 9, a protocol which fosters between the parties cooperation on vocational education and training.

In this way, the SoSCM will support UNTL courses within areas of its responsibility, such as in law and communications. In particular, this may include organising seminars and professional training. Similarly, the UNTL will provide graduates and establish training sessions, internships and programs for employees and agents of the SoSCM.

The building of this cooperation will benefit both parties in a broad range of matters including teaching, training and institutional capacity building.
