The Minister appealed to the population, to the local business persons and to the Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCIDL), to contribute to this project, which will benefit the population, making jobs available and allowing progress for the economy , helping the communities to overcome difficulties.
The Head of the Irish Aid Mission, Eoghan Walsh, also expressed hiss contentment “I’m pleased to participate in this event here in the Lautém district. I appeal to the business persons to increase their income, not only by buying and selling products but also because Lautém is one of the localities that is more favourable for tourism since there are many foreigners that visit this place. Tourism disseminates culture and history and at the same time shows the natural richness, such is the of example Konis Santana National Park”.
