The Vice Minister for Parliamentary Affairs, Adérito Hugo da Costa, participated today, February 26th, 2026, in the recording of a new episode of the “Government Page” TV show, dedicated to his role in institutional coordination between the Government and the National Parliament within the framework of the 9th Constitutional Government.
During the interview, the Vice Minister for Parliamentary Affairs’ responsibilities in supporting the Minister of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers were discussed, including the design, implementation, coordination, and evaluation of government policy in parliamentary affairs, as well as regular liaison with the National Parliament. Institutional coordination mechanisms, the Government’s representation at the Conference of Parliamentary Group Representatives and at plenary sessions of the National Parliament, and the importance of constructive dialogue between sovereign bodies were also discussed.
Promoted by the Government Spokesperson’s Office, led by the Minister of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers, Agio Pereira, the “Government Page” TV show is produced in partnership with Radio and Television of Timor-Leste and the national media to strengthen government transparency, accountability, and citizens’ access to information on the Executive’s main decisions and policies.
Hosted by Nélia Chaves and executive produced by Ika Moniz, “Página do Governo” (Government Page) is a space for institutional dialogue, focused on the public interest, to ensure that the population has access to the Government’s main actions and decisions.
