Today, the 14th of January, the National Parliament approved the General State Budget (GSB) for 2011, in its general terms, with 43 votes in favor, 21 against and 1 abstention.

This will now be followed by discussion of each individual section of the Budget which, in accordance with the National Parliament Rules, can not exceed 10 days.
