The Ministry of Education signed an agreement with the Chinese company Shangdong International & Technical Cooperation Group, LTD, on the 6th September, for the construction of a new school in Taibesse.
The Minister for Education, João Câncio Freitas, thanked the Chinese Government for the money that was made available for this new building’s construction, amounting to 1 million American dollars. The school, which was destroyed by floods, is expected to be concluded within eight months and will serve Kindergarten and highschool students from Becora.
