The Prime Minister, Kay Rala Xanana Gusmão, and also, Minister of Defense and Security, inaugurated, on the 28th of August, the new Police Station Building in the Ataúro sub-district, Díli district, of which the construction benefitted from the Project Referendum Package (Portuguese acronym PPR).
The key was delivered to the Prime Minister after the respective construction work was verified. According to the Secretary of State of Security, Francisco Guterres, the construction was done according to desired plan, although the company did build an extra visit room and office, and it is a construction work with quality and perfection.
In is turn, the company director pointed out that the construction of this building is according to the plan drawn out by the Secretariat of State of Security and that the extra visiting room and office was simply a contribution from his part, as a Timorese citizen, for the police members to feel more comfortable while in service and in attending the community.
