School Programme Outside Dili:Ermera District

09:00 -12:00 – 3 school visits
12:00-13:00 – Lunch
13:00 – 15:00 – 2 School visits
17:00-18:30 – Video: 3100 – Run and Become – Museum of Resistencia Timorense

Note: Peace Run School programme is approximately 45 minutes. The team welcome the student’s cultural and musical performances.

Programme at school includes:
Peace Run introduction
Country Guessing game
Singing the theme songs together
Skits about Peace
Feeling peace in the heart
Each child holds the torch, wishing for peace
Run with the torch


Third Day
Thursday, 07 February 2019
School Programme in Dili

09:00 -12:00 – 2 School visits and the Xanana Reading Room

5KM “Run for Peace” and Closing Ceremony

16:00 – Lighting the peace Torch with Timor-Leste’s Big Flame of peace, 5km Peace Run Start from the National Parliament Minister, Members of the Parliament and General Directors Lead Either the First or the Last 1kmof the Run
17:30 – Leaders and Runners Arrive outside the Gymnasium
17:40 – Start of the Closing Ceremony
