The Legislative Reform and Justice Sector Commission (LRC) met on January 16th with the ministry officials responsible for implementing the Commission’s analysis’ methodology of the state of Timor-Leste’s legislation. This process is expected to start by the end of January.
The meeting, which was attended by representatives of the Directorate General for Statistics and the focal points appointed by the ministers, enabled a detailed analysis of the questionnaire that will examine the state of the legislation and the sectoral report, proposed by the LRC.
The two documents should be submitted to the LRC, by all sectors, no later than March 3rd, 2017. The national report, to be prepared by LRC, must be submitted to the Government by May 19th, 2017.
