This year the celebrations began with a musical competitions, at the beginning of the week.
On Thursday, November 10th, a photo exhibition was inaugurated in the Santa Cruz cemetery and, on Friday, 11th, a march from Tasi-Tolu to the cemetery, will take place starting at 15h00, to remember the path taken 25 years ago by the young martyrs. After the march, there will be a re-enactment of the tragic event as well as a televised debate that will be transmitted live. There will also be a reflection period and a viewing of a film about the massacre from the journalist Max Stahl.
On the 12th, there will be a mass at 8h00 in the morning, at the Motael church, followed by a procession to the cemetery. In the afternoon there will be a football match between Ponta Leste and Assalm clubs, at Municipal Stadium, starting at 16h00.
