The Government Palace, in Dili, will host the CPLP Music Festival, on July 11th, starting at 7.30 P.M.. The Festival officially opens the cultural week program for the Second Civil Society Forum of the Community of Portuguese Speaking Countries (Portuguese acronym: CPLP), with the presence of the Prime Minister, Rui Araújo.
The Band from the Portuguese School Rui Cinatti, “Teki Toke” opens the Music Festival, which, on the first part, still has the participation ofREalphabetica – Mito Elias – performing video poems and Lusophone music. The second part is dedicatedto Timorese, Portuguese, Brazilian and African music.
Apart from the Music Festival, other cultural events, connected to the Forum, enliven the capital city of Timor-Leste, namely exhibitions, movie shows, book launching, concerts, book fairs and conferences.
The Second CPLP Forum takes place from July 13th to July 17th, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation.
