The Government of Timor-Leste offers it condolences to the Government and people of Nepal after the massive devastation and loss of life following the earthquake on Saturday. The Council of Ministers of Timor-Leste yesterday resolved to contribute $500,000 to support the victims of the earthquake and “expressed their regret at the situation experienced by the people of Nepal.” The Government of Timor-Leste commends all those involved in rescue activities and medical care and conveys its support to the Government of Nepal.
