The Minister of State and of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, José Luís Guterres, along with the Ambassador of Timor-Leste to Indonesia, José Manuel Serrano, has held a courtesy visit to the President of the National Parliament of Indonesia, Setya Novanto, on January 13^th, 2015.

The aim of the meeting was to establish bilateral bounds of friendship and cooperation between both nations.

The leaders shared information on political and economic development.

The Minister José Luís Guterres spoke with the President of the National Parliament of Indonesia on foreign policy, specifically about issues on which both nations have been working together.

“I have also sent the message to the President of the National Parliament of Timor-Leste, looking forward to the development of good relationships with the Parliament of Indonesia. The President of the National Parliament of Indonesia, Setya Novanto, expressed his strong desire in establishing good relations with the National Parliament of Timor-Leste”, referred the Minister José Luís Guterres.
