The Secretary of State for Administrative Decentralization, Tomás do Rosário Cabral, will carry out a work visit to the State of Victoria, Australia, between October 14th and October 17th. During this visit the Secretary of State for Administrative Decentralization, will have the opportunity to participate in the conference “Power to the People – Innovative ways to create vibrant communities led by active, caring and engaged citizens”, organized by the Municipal Association of Victoria.

The Secretary of State will also carry out working meetings with the Departamento de Governo Local of the State of Victoria, and with several Municipalities leaders, with whom cooperation protocols were signed in the administrative decentralization sector over the course of the current year.

Two cooperation protocols will also be signed between the State Secretariat for Administrative Decentralization and two Municipalities of the State of Victoria (City of Moonee Valley and Indigo Shire), which focus on the administrative decentralization area.
