The first edition of “Fête de la Musique” (Festa Múzika) in Timor-Leste will take place in on Saturday 21st of June 2014, at Casa Europa (next to the Government Palace), from 6:00pm until midnight.
The event is organised by the European Union and the Government of the Democratic Republic of Timor-Leste, in collaboration with the Institut Français Timor-Leste and evecom.
Originally launched in France in 1982, “Fête de la Musique” is now celebrated in over 108 countries and 726 cities worldwide every 21st of June, the day of the European summer.
There will be a selection of musical varieties, namely pop, jazz, reggae, rock, rap, traditional and many more.
