Minister of State and of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation attends Summit of the Group of 77 and China in Bolivia

The Minister of State and of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, José Luis Guterres, is attending the Commemorative Summit on the 50th Anniversary of the Group of 77 and China in Santa Cruz, Bolivia from 14th to 15th June.
The G77 and China, consisting of developing and emerging countries, is now comprised of 133 nations from Latin America, Africa and southern Asia.
The Bolivian Government expects more than 100 high-level delegates to attend the Summit.
Sustainable development, rural development, eradication of extreme poverty and a fairer distribution of wealth are the main issues of the Summit that will be attended by presidents Raul Castro (Cuba), Cristina Fernandez (Argentina) and Rafael Correa (Ecuador), along with UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon.
Before traveling to Bolivia, Minister José Luis Guterres will visit the RDTL Consulate in Kupang, Indonesia, from 11th to 12th June.
