Meeting between SECOMS and the President of the Press CouncilThe Secretary of State for Social Communication (SECOMS), Merício Juvenal dos Reis "Akara", met with the President of the Press Council, Virgilio da Silva Guterres and members of the Press Council at the Government Palace in Dili on 7 September 2018.

The subjects discussed at the meeting were: Professional exam for journalists in the legal framework of the professional card, creation of the Institute for Journalistic Training, legal framework for State support to media and temporary facilities for the Press Council.
