ISF returns aerodrome to Ministry of Justice

On Monday 25 March, 2013 the Ministry of Justice, through its Minister Dionísio Babo, received back the heliport that had been used by the International Stabilization Forces (ISF) during the mandate of its peace mission in Timor-Leste.

Dionísio Babo informed that “the State property, used by the International Stabilization Forces, was officially handed over to Government through the Ministry of Justice. Such property entails a heliport and a plot of land with almost 7 hectares of surface. One of these hectares will be given to the Presidency of the Republic to enable expanding its building. The remaining 6 hectares will be for the construction of the new building of the National Parliament”.

In attendance were, in addition to the Minister of Justice, the Secretary of State for Land and Property, Jaime Xavier, the Commander of the International Stabilization Forces, Mick, the Chief of Staff of the Minister of Justice, Mateus Rita, and representatives of the President of the Republic and of the Ministry of Finance.
