The Ministry of Social Solidarity, the Secretariat of State for Youth and Sports, the Catholic Church, the Timor-Leste Athletics Federation, the Timor-Leste Football Federation and the Special Olympics Asia Pacific will organize a sports competition with special athletes in the boxing, five-a-side football and athletics modalities.
The opening ceremony will be presided by the Chief of State, José Ramos-Horta, on the 26th of October of 2010, in the Díli Municipal Stadium, Timor-Leste.
This event will count on the participation of international level of special athletes from Indonesia, Timor-Leste, Australia, New Zealand, Malaysia, Thailand, Bangladesh, Philippines, Brunei Darussalam and Singapore, among others.
