Vice-Minister of Interior reports the sector National Strategic Plan to the Minister of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers
Vice-Minister of Interior, António Armindo, met with the Minister of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers, Fidelis Manuel Leite Magalhães, to present him the National Police of Timor-Leste (PNTL), the General Directorate for Civil Protection and the General Directorate for the Migration Service Strategic Plan.
During the meeting, António Armindo, presented the document that outlines the strategy, vision, mission and goals for the national security area, to the Minister of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers, whose mission is to coordinate the preparation and organization of governmental work, as well as to monitor and evaluate the decisions taken by the Council of Ministers’ execution.
This Strategic Plan aims to create the conditions for the protection of the citizens’ rights and the principles that guarantee public tranquillity, peace and harmony for the Timorese people, in a reform and progress perspective, in order to consolidate peace and national stability.
