Government builds medicine stores in Ainaro, Baucau and Bobonaro
The Deputy Minister for Strategic Health Development, Bonifácio Maucoli dos Reis, held this Wednesday, May 15, a meeting with the Director General of the National Development Agency (ADN), Samuel Marçal, at the Palácio das Cinzas, in Caicoli, Dili.
The meeting discussed the construction of new medicine stores in the regions of Ainaro, Baucau and Bobonaro.
Although the construction of the drug store in Ainaro has already been completed, the Autonomous Service of Medicines and Health Equipment, EP (SAMES) asked AND to install potable water and air conditioning systems and other improvements to ensure the preservation of the medicines. SAMES also asked ADN to provide a car to ensure the transport of medicine between Dili and Ainaro.
Bonifácio Maucoli assured that when the warehouses have all the appropriate equipment, SAMES will be able to guarantee the transport of medicines from Díli to Ainaro and distribute them to the Municipalities of Covalima, Manufahi and Ainaro.
