Government meets with companies from the Oil and Gas Sector

The Minister of State for the Presidency of the Council of Ministers and Acting Minister of Petroleum and Minerals, Agio Pereira, met with the representative of the national company Sacom, Abilio Araujo and the representatives of the international company Trafigura, Tim Cordrington as senior trader and Matt Van Der Gaag as regional oil manager. The companies expressed interest in the development of the gas pipeline and the LNG plant for Beasu and other relevant projects.

The meeting was held on May 23 at the Government Palace in Dili. Trafigura is one of the world's largest independent oil and oil products trading companies, one of the few with a global presence and comprehensive product coverage.
