Celebration of National Women's Day in the Municipality of Aileu
The Secretariat of State for Gender Equality and Social Inclusion promotes the celebration of National Women's Day, held on November 3, at Suco Maumeta, Administrative Post of Remexio, Municipality of Aileu.
The event takes place on November 9, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., starting with a Thanksgiving Mass in the chapel of Suco Maumeta.
At 11 am, the Administrator of Aileu Municipality will welcome the participants.
Speeches will be delivered by the Secretary of State for Gender Equality and Social Inclusion, the Spouse of the President of the Republic, the President of the Group of Women Parliamentarians, and a representative of the veterans.
By 1 pm, before the closing lunch, a dialogue will take place with the community, led by the Secretary of State for Gender Equality and Social Inclusion.
