Meeting of the Council of Ministers of October 25, 2017
The Government met on October 25, at the Government Palace in Dili, to review the amendments to the Seventh Constitutional Government Program, taking into account the concerns raised by Parliament Members during the document’s appraisal o in the National Parliament, which took place between October 16 and 19. The restructuring of the document is coordinated by the Ministers in the Presidency of the Council of Ministers, Adriano do Nascimento, and of Planning and Finance, Rui Gomes.
At this meeting, the State Rectification Budget was also analysed, presented by the Ministry of Planning and Finance. The Rectification Budget for 2017 takes into account the new structure of Government, previous commitments and the concern for expenditure restraint of the Executive.
The Program and the Rectification Budget will be presented simultaneously to the National Parliament, by the end of the year. ENDS
