Program of the Seventh Constitutional Government presented at the National Parliament
The Seventh Constitutional Government Program was presented by the Prime Minister, Marí Alkatiri, to the National Parliament on October 16th.
The document was delivered to the President of the Parliament, on October 10th just over three weeks after the inauguration of the Government.
The Program, approved by the Government in the Council of Ministers meeting of October 6th, responds to “the construction process of a more inclusive, fair and prosperous Timor-Leste with equal opportunities for everyone”, as defined in the Strategic Development Plan and which respects the Sustainable Development Goals.
The 51 page document that indicates the commitments of the Seventh Constitutional Government for the next five years of governance will now be debated in Parliament by the end of the week, October 20.
