The Vice Minister of Public Works, Transport and Communications, Januário da Costa Pereira stated that, today, the world is very concerned with water, because it is a determinant factor for people's lives. If water is not available, we do not live.

Regarding the reforestation, Januário Pereira requested that the communities of the four Hamlets continue to protect and preserve the source of Bena-Mauk, one of the sources providing water to the city of Dili.

The Administrator of the Administrative Post of Cristo-Rei, Gaspar Sarmento, and the National Director of Water Resources Management, Gustavo da Cruz, appealed to the Community to protect the tree seedlings and to be careful with their animals so that they do not destroy them.
