Seminar "Criminal Investigation Police and the consolidation of the Rule of Law"

Since 2012, the Justice Component of the Timor-Leste’s Democratic Governance Support Programme, a Cooperation delegated by the European Union in Portugal/ Camões IP, has partnered with the Ministry of Justice and the Court of Appeal of Timor-Leste. There were years of intense training work in Timor-Leste and Portugal, which resulted in the emergence of a modern unit of Scientific Police in Timor-Leste, with technical and human resources that are prepared for the fight against various forms of crimes today.
On October 21st the closing ceremony of this important support programme to the country’s good governance will be held, also in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation.
