Meeting of the Working Committee and international seminar on Trafficking in Human Beings

The follow-up meeting of the Working Committee on Trafficking in Human Beings for the Conference of the Ministers of Justice of the Portuguese-Speaking Countries (Portuguese acronym: CMJPLOP), follows the importance of international cooperation in the sharing of good practices, as set out in the action plan annexed to the Lisbon Declaration on the Establishment of Common Prevention and Combating the Trafficking in Human Beings Measures, adopted in May 2013 by CMJPLOP and whose continuity was also taken by the Presidency of Timor-Leste in this organization.

In this event, held in partnership with the International Organization for Migration (IOM), which is the main intergovernmental organization dedicated to the area of migration, will be followed by the realization of an International Seminar on September 30th.

Timor-Leste is co-rapporteur of the Committee.
