Rectified GSB for 2016 approved unanimously by National Parliament

The Draft Law N. 41/III/ 4th – Rectification of the General State Budget (GSB) for 2016 – was adopted today in the National Parliament, during final vote.

The Draft Law increases the GSB by US$391 million, leaving the total expenditure for 2016 at US$1,952.9 million. This amendment seeks to give continuity to vital infrastructures projects for the development of the country, avoiding an excessive budget procedure for 2017 and a possible delays in the progress of major projects.

In the final vote, the National Parliament approved the Government’s Draft Law unanimously.
