The General State Budget (SB) for 2016 was approved by the National Parliament (NP), on December 18, with 64 votes in favor, zero against and zero abstentions. One MP was absent for health reasons.

The total amount of the Budget is US$1.56 Billion.

The text will be reviewed by the National Parliament’s Commission C – Public Finance before being sent to the President of the Republic for promulgation.
