The Vice Minister for Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, Constâncio da Conceição Pinto, received on December 4th, in the Diplomatic Institute’s Meeting Room of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation (MoFAC), a courtesy call from the delegation of Vietnamese students, led by Denh Van Tóan.

The field trip visit to Timor performed by these students aims to strengthen the friendship relations between both peoples, and at the same time to enable opportunities for students to share and gain knowledge on the education system, cultural exchange, history and social context of both countries.

Constâncio da Conceição Pinto clarified: “This visit follows the official visit of our Prime Minister to Vietnam. Agreements were settled for an exchange of visits and we are also counting on visiting Vietnam. Students come to visit our country, to meet with our people, to learn about our culture, to appreciate our nature. Then they will convey their impressions in Vietnam.”

The Interim Head of Cabinet from the Vice Minister’s Cabinet, Marlina Malik, and the Advisor of the Secretary of State for ASEAN Affairs, Francisco Lemos dos Santos also attended the meeting.
